His fastball sits in the 90-93 mph range, but there could be more inthere--he's touched 96 before in relief stints and moved back to the bullpenlate this spring as he tired out. Boer has a good slider, but it's the splitterhe added to this year that has helped the most.
Recent news: Madison started April 22, against the WestMichigan Whitecaps. He faced 24 batters over 6 2/3 innings giving up 3 hits,walking 2,and striking out 2.

Promoted to High A Fort MyersMiracle April 30th
Thursday May 3rd 1ststart for Fort Myers Miracle vs. Palm Beach Cardinals
Palm Beach scored five runs, threeearned, off of Madison Boer in his first start since being promoted to FortMyers for Beloit. Boer (0-1) went 5.2 innings and allowed eight hits with threewalks and a strikeout.

Hard to get excited about the 2nd rounder from last yr as this has been a huge disappointing yr after some promise last yr.
Looking for a 'bright spot'....he hasnt been as bad in his last 5 starts vs his first 4.....
25IP over those 5st....all 5IP....25h 12er (4.32ERA) 15k 11bb
Only 22 but baby steps......

Last start on TUE....Ft Myers season high 6IP/ 6K (7h & 6er allowed)
SUN....6IP 7h 1er 2bb 1k......best start of the year in High A

Win tonight for Boer 6IP 8h 3er 1bb 3k
Very hard to find anything good on Madison this year as its been a horrible disappointment....no other way to say it for last yrs 2nd rounder
Best stats for him is since June 1
10 starts 5W 3L 4.75ERA 55IP 69h .311BAA 35k 15bb
Overall, got his ERA under 6 for first time since joining Ft Myers @ 5.98
